The Codename One JavaScript Port Is Now Free and Open Source

Codename One's JavaScript port is now open source under GPLv2 with Classpath Exception and available on all plans including Free. The ParparVM-based port replaces TeaVM as the default, supports local builds without a cloud account, and runs Java code in a Web Worker separate from the browser's main thread. This release also covers Android API 36 becoming the default, garbage collector fixes in ParparVM, a new Calendar API with cloud sync and conflict handling, Bluetooth moved into the core with BLE/GATT/RFCOMM support, pure Codename One text editing without native overlays, a lightweight RichTextComponent for HTML/Markdown/AsciiDoc rendering, and compact string storage using byte arrays in ParparVM.
