Every day I get out of bed thinking, what will I learn today. Because I know that I will encounter something new that I don't know. Something that will take research and comprehension, before writing a single line of code. I appreciate this article though. It does take sacrifice, but anything worthwhile in life does. The rewards of being a developer are enormous and far outweigh the sacrifices. There is still so much I don't know. Once you crack one or two complicated assignments you will gain the confidence to push through them all, regardless of what you know or what you think you know. I wouldn’t call that a dark side.
