MIT senior Kayode Dada, a mechanical engineering major who has designed board games since high school, created a trading-card game called 'Campus Trade' used as an icebreaker during MIT Orientation. Working with a research designer at the MIT Media Lab's Center for Constructive Communication, he redesigned the game after observing that students traded cards without talking, adding tarot-sized cards with student artwork and icebreaker questions. Dada also blogs for MIT Admissions and serves as an orientation captain, and hopes to pursue a career in game design after graduation.
