The malware embeds an obfuscated Python import hook in __init__.py that downloads the Bun runtime and executes a JavaScript payload. Novel features include: an adversarial prompt injection at the top of the payload to fool LLM-based security scanners into generating false-negative reports; cross-platform memory scrapers for Linux (/proc/mem), macOS (Mach VM APIs via ctypes), and Windows (Win32 ReadProcessMemory via PowerShell/C#); three GitHub-based C2 channels using magic keywords in commit messages; hybrid AES-256-GCM + RSA-2048 exfiltration to attacker-controlled repos; and a wiper deterrent that destroys the victim's home directory if the stolen GitHub token is revoked, discouraging immediate credential revocation. ## Full article daily.dev links to this article rather than hosting it.
