The harness wraps a chat client with a full agentic pipeline including function invocation, per-call history persistence, context compaction, todo/plan-execute tracking, file memory, skills, web search, tool approval, and OpenTelemetry telemetry. Developers supply only their chat client, instructions, and custom tools — everything else is pre-wired with sensible defaults. A single API call (AsHarnessAgent in .NET, create_harness_agent in Python) bootstraps the entire pipeline.
