Prisma has announced the general availability of the Prisma Data Platform, a collaborative environment for teams working with databases in production. The platform includes three main components: a Data Proxy for connection pooling (supporting serverless environments like Cloudflare Workers and AWS Lambda), a Data Browser (an online, team-friendly version of Prisma Studio), and a Query Console for experimenting with queries against real data. It integrates with GitHub repos and branches, supports role-based access control with four roles (Admin, Collaborator, Developer, Viewer), and is free to start with paid plans for larger teams.
