# The Watercooler feed is here

## Summary

daily.dev launched Watercooler, a new opt-in feed separate from the main tech news feed. It's designed for casual, low-stakes content like shower thoughts, hot takes, cursed screenshots, and general developer banter. Watercooler posts don't appear in the regular feed unless users seek them out, keeping the main feed focused while giving developers a place to unwind.

## Content

Your main feed is for staying sharp. Watercooler is the opposite.

It's a new feed for all things unimportant and nonsense at daily.dev. Shower thoughts, hot takes, cursed screenshots, "why does this work" questions, ranting, and celebrating together.

Reading tech news all day is a lot. Watercooler is where you go when your waiting for your favorite agent to do your work and you have four minutes to burn.

Watercooler posts stay out of your regular feed unless you go looking for them. The nonsense is opt-in.
