CD Projekt Red confirmed that Songs of the Past, the upcoming expansion for The Witcher 3, will include an expanded Gwent card game experience. The DLC is being co-developed with Fool's Theory, a studio of Witcher 3 veterans, on a scale similar to the 2016 Blood and Wine expansion. It launches in 2027 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, putting players back in Geralt of Rivia's shoes. The Witcher 4 remains further out, expected in 2028.
