# This Credit Card-Sized Linux Box Has a Keyboard, Camera, and AI Capability

**[It's Foss](https://daily.dev/sources/itsfoss)** · 4 min read · 15 upvotes · 2 comments

## Summary

M5Stack has launched the CardputerZero, a credit card-sized Linux device powered by a Raspberry Pi Compute Module Zero (CM0) with a Broadcom BCM2837 quad-core Cortex-A53 at 1GHz and 512MB RAM. Unlike its ESP32-based predecessors, it runs a full Linux environment. Features include an 8MP Sony IMX219 camera, 46-key keyboard, 1.9-inch LCD with HDMI output up to 1080p, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, and expansion ports. It also supports lightweight edge AI via tools like OpenClaw. Two variants are available — standard ($149 MSRP) and Lite ($99 MSRP) — with Kickstarter pricing active until July 3. The campaign has raised over $1.4 million from 10,900+ backers, with units shipping around November 2026.
