A maker project that repurposed a broken ceiling shower head into a functional LED temperature display using an ESP32 microcontroller and a OneWire temperature sensor. The LED array spans two 5x8 dot matrices wired to GPIO pins, color-shifting from blue (cold) to white (comfortable) to red (hot) while also showing the exact temperature. The original shower head was extended with a new working head, and the code was generated in about 10 minutes using an AI assistant.
