I am all-in with react native, and yes, you sometimes have stupid incomprensibile problems sometimes (the the less the experience, the more it happens), but think at how much time you saved untill that moment. You should think the man-time you could have needed untill that moment to have a full working app on both iOS and Android: let's make an example: let say that you need X days to develop a full working feature on Android, and the same on iOS. Since dew time ago, integrating native libraries was most of the time a hell, but today the most popular ones are installable in a very reliable way. Experienced React Native developers would have a ton more insight on the hangups he mentioned. Our company uses React Native / Expo exclusively for production apps, and although it has some hangups, it's magnitudes more efficient, and you can always add native code to get around things you can't do in React Native (yet).
