This open-source ESP32 touch synth just got a massive upgrade, and it's only €35 to make

A DIY polyphonic synthesizer built on the ESP32 microcontroller has been upgraded to a v2 called TYPE-2, buildable for around €35 in components. The new version fixes audio glitches by reassigning processor cores and redesigning the touch copper lanes, and the open-source design uses a DSP core with polynomial saturation, dual-rate processing, and analog-modeled filters for studio-quality sound. MIDI (USB/Serial) and Bluetooth support are planned for future updates. The project is on GitHub and requires minimal wiring to build.
