GitHub user cpaczek built 'Skylight', a Raspberry Pi 5-powered project that projects live flight data onto a ceiling using a projector. It uses either an RTL-SDR Blog V4 radio receiver to capture ADS-B signals from nearby aircraft or free flight data APIs. The display shows real-time aircraft positions, flight identifiers, aircraft types, and trajectories. Full build instructions are available on GitHub, with a minimal bill of materials: a Raspberry Pi 5, ceiling-pointing projector, micro HDMI to HDMI cable, and optionally an RTL-SDR dongle.
