A hobbyist named Joe built an 80s-style home computer using three Arduinos and an ESP32. An Arduino Due handles processing and runs a custom BASIC implementation, an Uno manages audio, and a Mega drives 40×25 monochrome NTSC composite video. The whole system is housed in a keyboard case reminiscent of machines like the Timex Sinclair 1000, Commodore PET, and TRS-80 MC-10. WiFi via ESP32 is a modern bonus. Joe plans to release all firmware images and a Python helper script.
