# Trace network paths from devices to SaaS applications

**[Datadog](https://daily.dev/sources/datadog)** · 4 min read · 1 upvotes · 0 comments

## Summary

Datadog has combined its End User Device Monitoring (now in Preview) with Network Path to let IT admins and network engineers trace the full network route from a user's device to a SaaS application. The integration provides hop-by-hop latency and packet loss metrics, enabling teams to pinpoint where slowdowns occur — whether at the local network, ISP, or SaaS provider's infrastructure. Users can compare traceroute results across multiple devices and time periods, and launch network path traces directly from the End User Devices page using the Datadog Agent. This reduces the need to correlate signals across separate tools during incident investigations.
