Clair Health, a startup founded by two Stanford graduates, has raised $11.6 million led by Khosla Ventures to build a noninvasive wearable for women's hormone tracking. The device features 10 biosensors including a novel biomagnetic sensor, and uses AI-powered voice-based onboarding to classify menstrual cycle phases and track biomarkers related to inflammation, energy, and perimenopause. Priced at $369 with a $9.99/month subscription, the device is expected to ship in November. The company differentiates itself from standard wearables like Apple Watch by targeting hormonal health specifically, and from competitors like Level Zero Health and Hormona by offering continuous, noninvasive real-time hormone insights.
