# Uber to put 500 data-collection vehicles on the road this year

Uber has unveiled a sensor-laden Hyundai Ioniq 5 prototype as part of its new AV Labs division, designed to collect real-world driving data for its autonomous vehicle partners including Waymo, Avride, and WeRide.
