Ubuntu Touch 24.04-2.0 beta has been released by the UBports community ahead of a planned mid-July stable launch. Key changes include proper handling of display notches and rounded corners via per-device configurations, a major Chromium upgrade from version 87 to 134 for the Morph browser, a new screenshot editor in the Lomiri shell, improved mobile data reliability, and FSCRYPT v2 encryption now out of experimental status. New device support includes the Nothing Phone (1) and Zinwa Q25, with a total of over a dozen supported devices.
