ULID stands for Universally Unique Alphabetically Sortable Identifier. It has more than 271K weekly NPM downloads and 1.7K GitHub Stars. It comes with some amazing features that resolve some of the drawbacks of UUID. ULID blocks the use of Math.random() by default and automatically decides a suitable random number generator.
