UniFi Network application 10.5 introduces two major features: Safe Ops and Client Observability. Safe Ops adds a test-and-confirm workflow for network changes with a 5-minute auto-revert timer, self-healing PoE device recovery, auto STP edge port detection, and data plane protection that sheds non-essential services under load. Firmware and application rollback is also simplified. Client Observability provides a detailed historical timeline per client showing connection events, Wi-Fi roaming history between access points, application traffic, and IP flow data — making it much easier to correlate client-side issues with site-wide health events.
