Several patches for the Uniwill laptop driver have been queued into the x86 platform drivers' for-next branch ahead of the Linux 7.3 merge window. New features include keyboard backlight control via the standard LED class interface (supporting both white-only and RGB), AC auto boot toggling, and USB power share support for maintaining USB power during hibernation or power-off. Additionally, new device support has been added for the MACHENIKE L16 Pro, AiStone X4SP4NAL, and lightbar support for the LAPQC71A/B. These changes were contributed by open-source developer Armin Wolf.
