# Updating the Signing Key on Leap Micro

**[openSUSE](https://daily.dev/sources/opensuse)** · 1 min read · 0 upvotes · 0 comments

## Summary

openSUSE Leap Micro experienced repository signature errors due to the expiration of the openSUSE GPG signing key. The issue has been resolved, but users whose systems still show errors can manually fix it by running transactional-update shell, forcing a zypper repository refresh with `zypper ref -f`, performing a distribution upgrade with `zypper dup`, and rebooting into the new snapshot.
