Senators Josh Hawley and Dick Durbin sent a letter to CEO David Baszucki demanding nearly 30 categories of documents and data by August 31, 2026, covering reports of sexual exploitation, grooming, bullying, and financial exploitation from 2023-2025, as well as moderation and ban rates. The letter cites cases of grooming, abuse, kidnapping, rape, and murder linked to the platform, and notes Roblox reported over 65,000 suspected child exploitation cases to NCMEC in 2025, more than double 2024's figure. Roblox's chief safety officer says the platform is built on safety and will share facts about its protections. Several US states and the Australian government have separately raised similar concerns. ## Full article daily.dev links to this article rather than hosting it.
