# Using GitButler With Multiple GitHub Accounts

**[GitButler Blog](https://daily.dev/sources/gitbutler)** · 7 min read · 0 upvotes · 0 comments

## Summary

GitButler supports connecting multiple GitHub accounts simultaneously, including personal accounts, work accounts, and multiple GitHub Enterprise instances. Authentication options include Device Flow, Personal Access Tokens, and enterprise-specific token-based login. Once connected, GitButler automatically routes pushes, pull requests, and clones to the correct account without manual credential switching. For self-hosted GitHub Enterprise servers behind firewalls, a custom Content Security Policy configuration in settings.json allows GitButler to reach those hosts after a restart.
