Oh Dear has added response body assertions to its uptime monitoring. Instead of only checking HTTP status codes, it now inspects the actual JSON payload returned by an API. Users can define assertions by specifying a JSON field path, a condition (e.g., equals), and an expected value. A live test button lets you validate assertions against the real URL before saving. When an assertion fails, the uptime check is marked as down and the reason is included in reports and notifications.
