# Valentina Release 17.4 adds Parquet support, first free ValentinaDB extension

## Summary

Paradigma Software has released Valentina 17.4, adding Parquet file support to Valentina Studio and Valentina Reports. The update also introduces ODBC support for DuckDB and SQLite, and ships the first free MIT-licensed extension for ValentinaDB, now available on GitHub. Free licenses for Valentina Studio and Server are available on request.
