Odense-based Velatir has raised €5m in seed funding, just six months after a €1.35m pre-seed, co-led by Spintop Ventures and Ugly Duckling Ventures with angel backing from n8n founder Jan Oberhauser. The startup gives companies visibility and control over AI tools employees already use across endpoints, browsers, vendors, and agents, tracking usage, data flow, and cost while centralizing policy guardrails. It maintains a directory of over 4,000 AI tools and runs entirely on European-owned and hosted infrastructure, positioning itself against 'sovereign cloud' offerings that are really American platforms with a European label. Funds will go toward European expansion and hiring in the increasingly crowded sovereign enterprise AI market.
