The openSUSE Asia Summit 2026 organizing committee has announced a venue change for the event. The summit will now be held at the Convention Hall of Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, replacing the previously announced Teaching Industry Learning Center (TILC) at Universitas Gadjah Mada. The change was made due to technical and logistical considerations. Conference dates remain unchanged at October 3–4, 2026, and registered participants do not need to take any action. Notably, UIN Sunan Kalijaga's Convention Hall also hosted the first openSUSE Asia Summit in Indonesia back in 2016.
