The facility will provide laser testing, technical support, and R&D capabilities for UK quantum technology customers, particularly those working on neutral-atom and trapped-ion quantum computing. Dr. Truppe joins from Imperial College London, where he will continue as Associate Professor, and brings expertise in deep UV lasers for cooling atoms and molecules. The expansion follows growing UK demand for Vexlum's compact VXL laser systems and aims to integrate the company into the UK quantum technology supply chain. ## Full article daily.dev links to this article rather than hosting it.
