## Summary

Insiders build changelog for VS Code 1.140 covers incremental Agents Window improvements: quick chat support on remote agent hosts, clearer labeling of externally started sessions, stopping token consumption when a session is marked Done, a new Run Multiple Agents feature to compare implementation attempts across isolated worktrees with a judge agent, contextual cross-posting guidance, configurable keybindings for Agents Window pickers, a Windows debug console file-link fix, support for the Windows hide-pointer-while-typing setting, and an enterprise banner for minimum version restrictions on AI features.

## Questions this post answers

### How do I compare multiple AI agent implementation attempts at once in VS Code?

VS Code Insiders added a Run Multiple Agents feature that sends the same prompt to multiple agents running in isolated worktrees, then has a judge agent recommend the best result. This lets developers evaluate different implementation approaches side by side without manually setting up separate branches or workspaces for each attempt.

### Why does my VS Code agent session keep running after I mark it as Done?

In earlier Insiders builds, marking an active agent session as Done did not actually stop it, so it kept consuming tokens in the background. This was fixed so that marking a session Done now properly stops the active agent, preventing unnecessary token usage.
