A hobbyist built a clock using three Baomain 65C5 analog voltmeters to display hours, minutes, and seconds. The build centers on an AVR128DB28 8-bit microcontroller running at 8MHz, which drives the voltmeter needles via hand-coded PWM (pulse width modulation). Each voltmeter has a custom-printed face with the appropriate number of divisions. The whole assembly is housed in a wooden enclosure with kerf-bent curved panels for an attractive finish.
