The creator built it out of frustration with paid VPNs that are closed-source, potentially sell user data, and suffer from slow speeds and high latency. It launched on Product Hunt and is seeking user feedback. ## Content The problem with VPNs are: 1) the great ones are locked behind a paywall. 2) they aren't open-source 3) you have to blindly trust the providers. And let's be honest, most of them sells our data behind our backs. Some of these VPNs are unreliable as well. Slow speeds, extremely high latency, etc. I got tired of this. So, I built MeshHop. It's completely FREE and Open-Source. Uses publicly available proxies to route your network. Privacy and security concerns are covered, and will be strengthened as well in the coming updates.
