Overall tone was 35% bullish, with 11 of 12 sectors net positive. Trump Media stood out with 87 bearish reads and zero bullish after reporting a $238M quarterly loss on $1.7M revenue. Crypto was the only negative sector, driven down by an XRP bridge hack draining 200,000 tokens in 97 minutes, while Riot Platforms scored 45 bullish to 2 bearish on a $9.1B Anthropic data-center deal, though that positivity is masked in the crypto sector figure since miners are classified under financials. ## Content Every week we tag every financial news article with per-ticker sentiment (an LLM scores each company mention as positive, neutral or negative), then aggregate. Last week that was 10,397 articles and 12,890 ticker reads. The aggregate hides the fun part. Net tone was 35% bullish for the second week running, and 11 of 12 sectors were net positive. The exceptions were one-sided in a way averages never show: Trump Media logged 87 bearish reads and not a single bullish one after posting a $238M quarterly loss on $1.7M of revenue. Crypto was the only negative sector, dragged by an XRP bridge hack that drained 200,000 tokens in 97 minutes. The miner Riot Platforms went 45 bullish to 2 on a $9.1B Anthropic data-center deal, and none of it shows in the crypto sector number, because miners sit under financials.
