# WeAreDevelopers is coming to the US to give unsung developers a bigger voice

## Summary

WeAreDevelopers, the Berlin-based developer conference now in its 11th year, is expanding to San Jose, California (September 23–25) and Bengaluru, India in 2026. Co-founder Sead Ahmetovic explains the mission: giving introverted developers a platform to celebrate their work and connect across disciplines. Former GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke, now building Entire — a developer platform designed for AI-native workflows — shares his vision of the future where developers orchestrate fleets of agents, session logs replace file trees as the core artifact, and the role of developer evolves toward thinking and orchestrating rather than typing.
