Safari 26.6 ships with a small but useful WebAssembly improvement: the compileOptions parameter is now supported in WebAssembly.compileStreaming() and WebAssembly.instantiateStreaming(), allowing JS String Builtins to be used without falling back from streaming compilation. The release also includes eight bug fixes covering CSS length unit scaling with page zoom, fixed-position elements with position-area, CSS zoom interactions on iPad, partitioned cookie deletion, service worker auto-unregistration for missing scripts, web extension database file accumulation, and RTCPeerConnection ICE candidate gathering on macOS Sequoia.
