Weird projects I shipped with AI

Same here. Since many years ago I jotted down many ideas, which were nice, yet so niche and not useful enough, I knew, I had more important projects to attend to, as you only have limited time in your life.
Now, with LLM support, a dream can come true. I can make so many minor niche things, with a minimal amount of time. Feels good man.

AI really is at its best when it’s being used for weird little projects nobody would’ve built otherwise.

Awesome, yeah the process of running thru and completing projects has definitely accelerated due to AI. And it’s been fun!

For me, LLMs have shortened the timeline from idea to “this is a great idea”/“this is a terrible idea”. It’s now trivial to test an idea almost as soon as I have it by feeding it into an agent harness (usually clause code running GLM-5.1 via ollama) and get to a point where I can decide if it’s all it’s cracked up to be or something that should die right there…no more (well, let’s be honest, not so many anyway) ideas staring back at me every time I open my notes.

The good thing in AI is you can compensate your missing skill. When you are good in programming but not in designing then you can use it to get a good layout. So it’s a good point i can not do things on my own where i could not find someone.
