ClickStack's April 2026 release focuses on tightening core observability workflows. Key additions include SQL-powered alerts enabling rolling baselines, anomaly detection, and statistical thresholding directly in ClickHouse SQL. The default otel_logs schema was redesigned around ClickHouse's text index with a new primary key layout (toStartOfFiveMinutes, ServiceName, Timestamp), delivering over 70% query performance improvement. A direct-read optimization rewrites map attribute filters into indexed array lookups for 1.4–10x faster attribute filtering. Autocomplete now uses materialized view rollups instead of live table scans, reducing latency on large datasets. Heatmaps are now a first-class chart type available across all dashboards. Additional improvements include expanded alert threshold operators, per-series number formatting, pie chart legends, and better alert error surfacing.
