What’s new in Svelte: June 2026

The June 2026 Svelte update brings significant improvements to SvelteKit's forms and remote functions. Key highlights include: form `submit` now returns a boolean for validity, breaking changes to `requested()` requiring a `limit` parameter, new `query.batch()` support, `query.live()` for long-lived real-time subscriptions (now async-iterable), and a revamped `enhance` callback API. The Svelte ecosystem also gains TypeScript 6.0 support across language-tools packages, template-level declarations in markup, and Svelte MCP stdio improvements. The community showcase features numerous apps, UI components, and developer tools built with Svelte.
