Full text search on Postgres has limitations in terms of setup complexity, faceted search implementation, typo tolerance, language support, backend performance, scaling limitations, relevancy, and lack of support for InstantSearch libraries. Using a search-focused database like Meilisearch can overcome these limitations and provide better search experiences.
