Large language models (LLMs) are reshaping the world of software, altering the way we interact with users and develop business logic. The Quarkus team, in collaboration with the LangChain4j team, has been working on an extension to integrate LLMs in Quarkus applications. This extension provides mechanisms to extend AI knowledge using tools and document stores. The integration is done using a declarative approach and offers advantages such as testability, observability, and resilience.
