> Being a PHP dev myself, I see enough skilled developers in this niche already. I don't recall having any issues filling a Laravel position in the past 4 years or so. In contrast, finding a good JS developer is quite a feat, tbh. In general, PHP has always been perceived as unfriendly towards junior developers, yet anyone who wanted to become a PHP developer easily did so.
