> Wow... It's actually surprising to read an article that pulls the words out of my mouth. I can see the benefits of Pomodoro, but at the same time, I'm also struggling to be consistent with it. Mainly because the break time quite literally _breaks_ my concentration. And I often get quite annoyed by it.
>
> Then I try the alternative, I will go to deep focus for as long as I can, then whenever I feel like I'm hitting a block, I can just take a rest. This also becomes a problem as I take too long of a rest time.
>
> Then this article introduces me to Flowmodoro, which gives a fair amount of rest time....

> But is it better for someone with ADHD who tends to have too much focus that they forget the time flow unless something interrupts the flow

> This makes a lot of sense, but as an adult cursed (or blessed) with hyper focus, a hard limit of between 45 to 90 minutes generally works best to keep me productive and healthy. If the author would include an optional setting for a hard limit in their app - I'd scoop it up in a heartbeat. If they'd like some help with it further down the line, I'll happily write a PR for it.

> I agree, time-boxing really works!

> It's good to have breaks planned. If we wait until we're tired, it's too late for a good break.
