Windsurf 2.0 introduces the Agent Command Center, a Kanban-style interface for managing multiple local and cloud agents simultaneously within the IDE. A new organizational unit called Spaces groups agent sessions, PRs, files, and context by task or project. The release also integrates Devin, an autonomous cloud-based software engineering agent, directly into Windsurf. Devin runs in its own VM, handles complex end-to-end tasks like debugging, deployment, and testing, and is included with every Windsurf plan. The goal is to unify planning, delegation, and code review in a single editor workflow.
