The highlight is a new set of 65 patches from CodeWeavers' Zhiyi Zhang implementing DirectComposition (DCompositionCreateDevice2) support. Previously, only a stub implementation existed, which was enough to get Dorico music notation software working but insufficient for upstreaming. The new patch series improves compatibility with the Corgi Warlock game on Steam. Full DirectComposition support will still require a dwm.exe desktop window manager implementation and graphics driver integrations.
