Two migration options exist: using WordPress as a headless CMS to pull content while maintaining the admin interface, or converting all content to markdown files using WPress2Astro, a tool that creates an Astro starter project for complete content control. ## Content Wordpress powers an extremely insane amount of websites, yet for some it is too bloated for their use case. Astro is the perfect solution for content rich websites. Due to its policy of shipping no JavaScript by default it makes the website run faster. But is there a way to migrate your content from wordpress and update it easily? Yes there are several options but I will only list two. First, you can use it like a headless CMS and pull it only the content and still log in and update content via wordpress. A noble and useful option. Or second you could use the tool I am building to convert all your content into separate markdown files then create an Astro starter project to view/edit them.
