Workday unveiled Agent Passport at its DevCon event, a tool that validates AI agent safety and compliance before deployment and continuously during operation. It can allow, block, or route agent actions based on company policy, and tests agents for risks like prompt injection, jailbreak, goal hijacking, and data leaks — all tied to public standards like MITRE ATLAS. Cisco is the sole testing partner at launch, with early access planned for Q3 and general availability before year-end. Workday also launched Developer Agent, which integrates with tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex to help developers build and deploy custom agents using natural language, and Agent-Ready Tools — enterprise connectors built for autonomous agents that connect via open standards including MCP.
