Hundreds of CWA union members were affected, including workers at Id Software, Bethesda Game Studios, and ZeniMax Online Studios. The CWA is pursuing immediate bargaining for fair severance, vendor contract decisions, internal placement, and recall rights, and has launched a hardship fund for laid-off developers in partnership with United Videogame Workers.
