The blocks followed court orders citing national security and public order after online criticism grew over the government's handling of a crisis in the country's investment fund market, where regulators ordered 131 funds closed. X has not disclosed reasons for the restrictions, and even the account of the researcher tracking the blocks, Yaman Akdeniz, was hidden. The accounts remain visible outside Turkey due to country-level blocking under Article 8/A of Turkey's internet law. ## Full article daily.dev links to this article rather than hosting it.
