On the developer side, the Responses API for Grok 4.3 supports OpenAI-compatible tool calling with native server-side execution for built-in tools like web_search, x_search, and code_interpreter, plus custom function definitions via JSON schemas. The model handles up to 128 tools per request, supports parallel tool calls, and maintains a 1 million token context window. Compared to OpenAI Skills, Claude Skills, and Vercel Agent Skills, Grok Skills positions itself as a lightweight platform-native workflow layer tightly integrated with the X platform.
