## Summary

A public letter proposes a deal with DHH to take over triage and fixes for two components of the Omarchy project (menu and lock-screen), which together account for 464 of roughly 5,700 open issues/PRs. The author, building a tool called Proof, describes a system of versioned requirements, executable checks, MC/DC coverage and deterministic acceptance rules meant to let AI agents propose fixes while maintainers retain authority over product decisions. A detailed case study walks through a JSONC parser bug fix, comparing it against a competing PR using 200,000 generated test documents, and describes infrastructure for tracking claims, worker heartbeats, and stale reviews across a constantly changing codebase. The author cites prior work triaging rsync's 3.5.0 release as evidence of the approach's viability.

> The interesting part is shifting AI-assisted maintenance from “the agent says it’s fixed” to reproducible evidence that it meets explicit requirements. Deterministic acceptance checks could let AI handle more of the issue backlog without taking product judgment away from maintainers. The real test is keeping those checks trustworthy as the codebase evolves.

> That's super interesting man, the product seems amazing. My question would be how hard it is to maintain the requirements
